About
Built by an STR operator. For STR operators.
StayReply is built by people who've actually managed short-term rentals — not by engineers who've never answered a 2am WiFi question. Every product decision starts from one premise: would I want this on the properties I manage?
Why StayReply exists.
StayReply started in 2024 with a simple frustration: every existing AI guest messaging tool sounded like a hotel chatbot.
We'd spent years managing short-term rentals before we ever wrote a line of code. We'd hired VAs who gave five different answers to the same guest question depending on who was on shift. We'd tried the polished "AI guest messaging" platforms that forced you to approve every reply — which completely defeats the purpose of automation. We'd watched operators lose Superhost status because they couldn't reply to a 3am WiFi question fast enough.
The existing tools all had the same flaw: they were built by people who'd never actually managed a stay. Generic AI that didn't know the door code. Templates that didn't reflect how a real host actually talks to guests. Workflows that required so much manual oversight, you'd have been faster typing the reply yourself.
So we built what we wished existed.
StayReply is trained on your knowledge base — your check-in times, your WiFi passwords, your house rules, your past messages. It sends replies in your voice, in seconds, without you needing to approve every one. Sensitive messages — refunds, complaints, emergencies, special requests — always escalate to a human. You stay in control of what matters. The routine 80% just gets handled.
We're still early. Operators in Europe have been paying for StayReply since the first version, with more signing up since the product opened to the public. We're growing deliberately, with operators who want a tool that actually works the way they do — not a polished pitch from people who've never managed a real stay.
If you're an STR operator who's tired of the existing options, you're exactly who we built this for.
